It's just so hard to believe that Michael Jackson is dead.
I've got chills. I was waiting to see what his come back tour This is it, would do for his career.
I guess we will never know. I wonder if his brothers will fill in for him on any of his concerts.

OK, now my darling loving husband is once again confined to bed.
but now he is in extreme agony.
and he's lost about 6 pounds due to the fact that his throat hurts too much too eat.

my darling husband has once again obtained injury!!!!!!!!!
he is stuck home in bed, until surgery, and bored out of his mind,
we got the written diagnosis today.
the back is divided into three sections, cervical (top) thoracic middle and the lumbar the bottom.
the top has 7 vertebre, 1 is at the base of the brain
charlie has damage 3,4,5,
it's 3, that's the most dangerous, "large central disc extrusion affecting the spinal cord"
4 is mild bulging
5, moderate protrusion.
we have to go to patient first and they have to give charlie ok, fit for surgery exam.
then we have to go to Dr ciuffo, cardiac and he has to give heart ok for surgery exam.
then after they take Charlie off coumadin, then we have to wait a few days before they can do surgery.
hospital should be a min of 3 days, hopefull not more than that.
then 8 min. of weeks recuperation,
so i'm concentrating on stressing over the lack of money, we will miss over the next three months.
because if i start thinking about my husband and his going under the knife, i'll start crying and i don't know if i will stop.
i mean here we are walking along the path, and then the doctor says take another step or turn the wrong way and you will be paralysis for life. and he meant it too! gee, if that doesn't scare you,

feeling better but cough is a congestive one, and it's bring up mucus, and poor charlie spent the night making sure i didn't choke in my sleep. poor guy, very tired today.
not sure what's going to happen with the site, it's going to be a rough couple of months,
with the big bills being due, those "car insurance" and we need to repair the roof and if charlies dr wants an MRI done, yikes the co-pay on that one.

fever spiked at 102.4 before breaking late monday night ,
and we took blood pressure today, 111/71 much better, much more normal.

i want to die today, really, i feel awful don't want to get out of bed,
husband had chiropractor appt we had to go,
i went through an entire box of tissues.
then we went to patient first. waste......
at patient first they took my blood pressure and said it was 164,
it was only because i was too sick, did i tell the girl she had rocks in her head
maybe that's why she could get blood?
diagnosis was upper respiratory infection and that was from barely looking at me.
so we took it again when we got home later in the day 144 better, but not normal

Because I ran out of ginger ale, i really didn't have much to drink yesterday, so i'm a little dehyrdated.

APPLE JUICE- a little tart
TOMATO JUICE actually tastes like tomato juice,
TEA - HOT AND COLD - hot was ok, cold was awful.
ended up with GRAPE JUICE as main staple for the day

Also I would "hope" for some genealogy contributions, however since it's been 8 years, and i haven't gotten a single newspaper obit or any other genealogy contributions I won't hold my breath.

The rest of the cats seem to know of Rusty's departure and have taken to his spot on the bed. It's sad.
My sister in law has given birth to my 2nd niece. I'm sorry but i'm jealous can't help it. My fear that when i die, there will be no one to bury me, no one to remember me. It's not meant to be sad, it's just a fact.

I spoke with the vet and i decided to go for the surgery for rusty, at least then he would have a 50/50 chance and it was better than sitting here doing nothing.
BUT. IT WAS TOO LATE and rusty died at the vets office. Most of his organs were failing.

We took my cat to the vet and received some horrible news. $600 dollars to drain rusty's intestines and urinary tract. And the doctor said we'd only been in there again in a week having it done again.
He gave us a list of "possible" causes tumors,cancers, etc. He said we could spend $5000 and it would not improve rusty's quality of life.
He recommends putting rusty down. rusty lost 2.5 pounds in less than 7 days.
We had them give rusty some pain meds, even though he's not crying, the doctor said he's in pain, and we brought him home and put him in his favorite hidey hole. while we come to terms with this major decision.
we always thought brandy would go first, she is 15 and full of life. Here's rusty only 10 and in less than 2 weeks. he went from healthy, to dying.

Was sorry to see SOOKIE leave HBO until next summer. Missing Deadwood. that was a good show.
Watching Stargate SGI reruns and Atlantis. i like those shows.
Also have been into audio books lately. Re-reading Johanna Lindsey-malorys, Catherine Coulter- sherbrooks. it's a great way to read in dark.

I WANTED SO MUCH to call my mom last night. We are making History! It's so exciting.
I wanted so much to call my grandparents and get their opinions. Wanted to know their views from people who were born before 1920. So I just cried. As mom and the grandparents are in heaven along with all my children.

A little sad today, a little feel sorry for me day. I know everyone has them. Everyone deserves a me day.
One of the biggest reasons why I have these 3 websites is because it's harder to research my own family not living in New York anymore and secondly. Most of my family has passed on and I am unable to have children myself. So why do family tree research? whose going to care? Without my mom to share this stuff with, it's not fun anymore. Without the possibility of having children to share this with. Then why do it? So that's why I started researching other peoples families. At least there is someone to share the fun of discover with.
It's weird somehow to know that when i go the only ones that will remember me are the junk mail people. My mom has been dead for 8 years and she still gets credit card offers. go figure.

Well, its a bright sunny clouded day here in virginia beach. trying to decide if i should go to the post office this morning or wait till tomorrow. Will probably go tomorrow as i'm not feeling too well this morning. but anyway i won a little war with verizon and my line is fixed. yipee!! now my computer is locking up. I need to find a way to make the computer itself run faster, not online but just the computer itself. as it takes 6 minutes to log on and log off the computer.
My favorite author in the whole wide world comes out with a new book in November. then we have to wait for the next one in June 2009. If you can't tell from my booksale page, I love Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake.
Is everyone ready for the new tv season? It's just about awful isn't it. Why can't we have more shows based on books? what's with all this reality stuff?
I think Stephanie Laurens cynsters or bastion club would be good. then Johanna Lindsey's Malory's or Mary Balogh's group or Janet's stephanie would make a could comedy or christine Feehan's carpathian or the game group would be even better as an fighting crime type series.
sookie's been good so far, hbo's trueblood.
My season tv wise is going to end up being dvd's. We watch NCIS,BONES,GREY'S, and some times csi miami and smallville and maybe knight rider this season. but that's about it. oh, ghost whisper.
sunday night is a major bummer night except for sookie.
