THE WEDDING BREAKFAST GIVEN FOR MR. AND MRS. OLIVER HARRIMAN JR. WAS SAID BY MRS. CORNELIUS VANDERBILT AND MRS. OGDEN MILLS TO BE THE DAINTIEST AND PRETTIEST THEY HAD EVER ATTENDED. CORNELIUS VANDERBILT SENT THE PRETTY DARK EYED BRIDE A BUSHEL BASKET OF WHITE& GOLD FILLED LILIACS AND BRIDE ROSES.

THE ENGAGEMENT IS ANNOUNCED OF HARRIET GOODWIN BENSON DAUGHTER OF THE LATE RICHARD BENSON, TO ALEXANDER J. BRUEN.

THE ENGAGEMENT, WHICH WAS RUMORED AT MISS CARLEY'S WEDDING, AND WAS CONFIRMED AT A DINNER GIVEN BY MR. FORBES-LEITH ON THURSDAY NIGHT, IS THAT OF MISS ETHEL FORBES LEITH, TO CAPTAIN CHARLES BURN, AN ENGLISHMAN WHO HAS NOT YET VISITED THIS COUNTRY.
MISS FORBES-LEITH IS THE ONLY DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. A.Y. FORBES LEITH, OF NO. 40 PARK AVENUE, AND MADE HER DEBUT THIS WINTER, HAVING BEEN PRESENTED AT COURT LAST SPRING AND UNDERGONE THE ORDEAL OF A LONDON SEASON.
HER FATHER WAS ORIGINIALLY A NAVAL OFFICER, WHO WENT INTO BUSINESS OUT WEST, HAVING MARRIED MISS YANNARY, OF ST. LOUIS, AND AMASSED A LARGE FORTUNE.
ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO HE BOUGHT FYVIE CASTLE, IN ABERDENSHIRE, A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORIC PLACE, THAT WAS ONCE OF THE ROYAL PALACES.

PATROLMAN WILLIAM MCDEVITT OF 234 EAST 119TH STREET ATTACHED TO THE EAST 126TH STREET STATION, DIED LAST NIGHT.

WILLIAM H. BUTTNER & W.D. HUGHES THE BOGUS DIVORCE LAWYERS WERE TAKEN TO SING SING PRISON YESTERDAY BY DEPUTY SHERIFFS BURKE AND WHELAN.

SIGMUND SIMPSON, 15 YRS OLD OF 60 EAST 109 TH STREET. FELL WHILE SKYLARKING AT NO 92 FRANKLIN STREET YESTERDAY AND HAD HIS RIGHT LEG  BROKEN.

A GUEST OF THE NEW ENGLAND HOTEL, ON THE BOWERY WHO REGISTERD AS MR. PERCIVAL, WAS FOUND IN HIS ROOM YESTERDAY NEARLY SUFFOCATED BY ILLUMINATING GAS. HE HAD A LETTER ADDRESS TO JOHN P. PERCIVAL, ESSEX STREET, BETWEEN RIDGEWOOD AND ARLINGTON AVENUES, BROOKLYN. HE WILL PROBABLY DIE.
