CLIFTON STATEN ISLAND: MARY HARLEW, A CHILD OF 5, DAU. OF CAPT. HARLEW, FELL OUT OF A 2ND STORY WINDOW AT HER HOME YESTERDAY MORNING AND SHE WAS SO BADLY INJURED SHE IS NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE.

STAPLETON STATEN ISLAND: CHARLES JOHNSON, A YOUNG ENGLISHMAN, WHITE ATTEMPTIN TO CROSS THE MAIN STREET FELL AND WAS RUN OVER BY A WAGON DRIVEN BY MR. CRYDER OF TOMPKINSVILLE. JOHNSON HAD ONE OF HIS ARMS AND SEVERAL OF HIS RIBS BROKEN.

HOBOKEN NJ: WILLIAM JORDAN AND GEORGE WILSON, 2 ROOKLYN BOYS WERE ARRESTED YESTERDAY CHARGED WITH STEALING RAILROAD IRON VALUED AT $3 FROM THE MORRIS AND ESSEX RAILROAD THEY WERE COMMITTED.

JERSEY CITY:
JOHN FOX WHILE STANDING ON THE ERIE RAILWAY TRACT NEAR THE DEPOT ON TUESDAY EVE WAS CAUGHT BETWEEN TWO CARS WHICH HE WAS ENDEAVORING TO COUUPLE, RECEIVING SUCH SEVERE INJURIES THAT HIS RECOVERY IS DESPAIRED OF.

JAMES A. DONNELLY WHILE COUPLING 2 FREIGHT CARS ON THE NJ ROAD ON WED NIGHT HAD HIS  HAND BADLY CRUSHED.

WILLIAM AMSDEN DENIES THE REPORT THAT HE IS DROWNED, AND SAYS HE HAD NO INTENTION OF DROWNING WHILE HE CAN KEEP HIS HEAD ABOVE WATER.

NEWARK: WILLIAM MIX A RESIDENT OF MORRISTWON HAS BEEN ARRESTED ON SUSPICION OF SETTING FIRE TO TITUS CRACKER BAKERY. HE WAS A DISCHARGED EMPLOYEE, HE WAS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.
 
MRS. T.D. BURNES RESIDENT AT 45 FERRY ST. DIED ON MONDAY NIGHT. ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO SHE HAD SOME WORDS WITH HER LAND LADY ABOUT PUTTING A BEDSTEAD IN THE YARD OF THE HOUSE IN WHICH THEY LIVED. THE LAND LADY'S SON , A BUTCHER NAMED C.R. HECKEL, THEN CAME IN AND PULLED THE BEDSTEAD AWAY FROM HER & BROKE IT INTO PIECES AND IT IS BELIEVED THAT THIS SO FRIGHTENED HER THAT SHE DIED. SHE LEAVES A CHILD OF 8 MONTHS OLD. IT IS BUT JUSTICE TO PARTIES CONCERNED TO SAY THAT NO PERSONAL VIOLENCE WAS USED.
